Corby-based business sets up direct-to-dieter service to enable its consultants to continue to provide valued support and deliver food to dieters across the UK
6 April 2020: A new direct delivery service has been set up by The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan so its independent consultants can ensure their dieters are still receiving their orders.
The company sells and markets The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan products through independent consultants, who offer one-to-one support and a personalised plan to guide slimmers through their weight loss and maintenance. This is all usually done face-to-face.
In an unprecedented move for the business, which prides itself on its unique network of more than 6,500 independent consultants across the UK, the service now allows dieters to order products to be delivered direct to their front door via a courier.
While this is all still done through their personal consultant, this will not only aid dieters looking to continue their weight loss journey over the next few months but will also support consultants to ensure their safety as part of the ongoing government guidance around social distancing.
The 1:1 Diet remains open during the lockdown as it provides an essential service, producing nutritionally balanced food - meals, shakes, bars, soups, smoothies and snacks – to make sure those following the plan receive the products they need.
The direct-to-dieter service is just one way The 1:1 Diet is supporting its consultants and network of dieters during these unprecedented circumstances. The business is also advising virtual weigh-ins and consultations, with many consultants receiving positive feedback from their clients on how they’ve adapted.
