I have been there, overweight, hormonal, unhappy with my appearance and for years I started a diet EVERYDAY! I tried nearly every diet out there!
I ate because I was happy, sad, celebrating, unhappy about my weight. I couldn’t lose weight either because I was on holiday, I have kids, we moved countries, it was a birthday, Christmas, a bank holiday. All the same reasons as you!
Every time I started a new diet I was full of determination and I lost weight but because of one or all the reasons above I put it all back on and usually more than I lost. So the cycle began!

Suddenly I wasn’t thinking about food all day, worrying about what I was going to eat that day – previously it was like having a constant battle going around in my head, and after just one month on the 1-1 diet my inner voice calmed and the weight loss was amazing.
I lost a stone in just 3 weeks!
With the support from my consultant and social media groups, I learnt how to change my relationship with food. As I lost weight, I became more active, came off blood pressure medication and began to love life – especially buying all the new smaller clothes!!
After 6 months I reached my goal weight and a year and a half later I am still maintaining it.
