My own weight loss journey started in 2013.  The cambridge Weight plan (now called the 1:1 diet) worked for me and I lost 4 stone.  Like many of us mums I had steadily reached 13 and a half stone in the years following the birth of my 2 children.  With the help, support and friendship of my wonderful consultant and following the plan I very quickly reached my goal weight of 9 and a half stone and more importantly maintained it for 11 years now.

I am a very busy mum and Grandma so my health remains my priority and I continue to maintain my weight loss, (although navigating menopause this has been harder) using the knowledge gained from the 1:1 diet.  My family and my health are the most important things in my life.  I'm 49 years old and feel the best I ever have.
