I had always been a larger person and struggled with weight control. Being a type 1 diabetic from the age of 11, I always knew I had to get my weight under control.
When I couldn't fit into my favourite size 22 dress knowing I was a size 24 (in denial) i needed to change and decided I need to find a way to lose weight to sustain it so I didn't yo-yo diet. I did it! I achieved what I had set out to achieve and now I'm a happy. It was really easy managing my diabetes throughout the diet with the structure and support of my consultant. I still feel amazing. My total loss was 8 stone and 9lbs so if you've a long journey ahead I understand how your feeling now.
