As the years rolled on so did the pounds, but the real crunch came with a serious health scare, my cholesterol was sky high and the doctors said I was a stroke victim waiting to happen. Weight was putting a massive stress on my body, but making better food choices wasn’t easy when you’ve built up a lifetime of bad habits. I tried other diets but temptation always got in the way.
The 1:1 Diet came to the rescue. Taking conventional food out of the equation for a while enabled me to kick start. I saw amazing results even the first week and settled down to regular weight loss, soon shedding the excess to achieve a healthy BMI 25. The size 12s fitted again and the compliments flowed in, I felt so good with loads of energy but the real gauge to my success was the blood test and the news that my cholesterol was normal without medication.
This was a health plan for me rather than a diet plan, but it came with the added benefits of looking and feeling amazing.
Initially I didn’t tell anyone apart from my husband and consultant, this was a private challenge for me, but friends soon noticed the change. Now I shout it from the roof tops I’ve got so much confidence and so much trust and respect for the amazing 1:1 Diet.

Almost 8 years on and I’m still maintaining and the only thing I’m finding difficult is to fit everything into my busy lifestyle!
