My Journey

Trust me, I've been there. Overweight for most of my adult life, I'd tried all the diets going with varying success, re-gaining lost weight (plus more) each time. I've stomped out of shops because my usual size didn't fit and I refused to go up one (or 2) sizes. I've cried at my mirror reflection and then secretly eaten my emotions. 

I turned to the 1:1 Diet in despair, only to find the answers I'd been seeking. I have PCOS which is an added complication, but, I lost 4 Stone in 7 months!

Even though I've been a consultant since 2017, I still need to be careful. Through the emotional turbulance of 2020's lockdowns, my old habits crept in and my weight went up. I got back on plan to reverse that and returned to my maintenance weight. 

Now I'm experiencing perimenopause with it's hormonal weight gain, so it's back on plan for me!

When I say I get it, I really do!
