Hi, I'm Jo!

My name is Jo and I’ve struggled with my weight, size and body image for years. 

When lockdown hit back in February/March 2020 I had a meltdown – I was scared of losing my home and the business I’d spent many years building up, could I afford to keep my business premises going and would I be able to continue to look after my Clients?

I hit the bottle and comfort ate my way through my kitchen cupboards!  A while later, after gaining weight and feeling totally depressed, I gave myself a “shake” and realised that it didn’t have to be this way.  I could take control and change the way I thought about Lockdown and Covid-19.

I stopped drinking and started using my 1:1 Diet Products to lose some pounds and put plans in place to support my clients.

After five long years, I’m down a few more stone and am feeling confident and happier in my skin – I still have a way to go but that’s ok – I’ll keep working on it and will achieve my goals.

So, a bit more about me …

I've been a full-time Consultant since 2006 - trained in CBT, TA, NLP and Hypnotherapy to support you on your weight loss and weight management journey, working from professional premises in Edinburgh and mobile across the Lothians.  I also sponsor a team of experienced Consultants who may be closer and more flexible - I can refer you to them!

Three weeks ago, I woke up feeling lethargic and unhappy. I had gained over 20lbs because my usual work pattern and hobbies had been interrupted by the pandemic – no dance classes, easy access to kitchen, etc.
 

I texted Jo and she made space in her diary for me that day. I started the plan the following morning and have already lost a stone. 

Jo is hugely supportive, extremely organised, so the collection of food-packs is safe, but allows for the much needed check-in.  She is empathetic but challenging when the excuses creep in. Can’t recommend too highly.
