At your first appointment, you can expect a relaxed conversation where we talk about you, your lifestyle and your goals. We’ll explore the plan together, and decide which step will work best for you and your everyday routine. There is no pressure — just guidance and support.
The plan is suitable for most people, whether you have half a stone to lose or more. It is not a one size fits all weight loss programme, together we will work out a plan tailored to suit you and your lifestyle.
My aim is for you to leave each session feeling heard and supported. This isn’t about perfection — it’s about progress, confidence and creating lasting change in a way that feels achievable for you.
In 2015 I had two T- shirts, one pair of jeans and a cardigan, that actually fit me. I’d unsuccessfully dieted on and off for years and was already feeling very low, when I was told I needed an operation, but the risks were high due to my weight being nearly 19 stone. I didn't know what I was going to do.
My mum had previously lost 5 stone with Cambridge Weight Plan and suggested I give it a go. I wanted this to work so much, I read about all my local Cambridge Consultants on the website and nervously typed out an email. I hit it off with my consultant straight away – what a relief!
I was expecting to lose 1-2 stones, but by the time my operation came round, but I’d lost over 6 stone! My hospital consultant was over the moon; she didn’t recognise me on operation day and that feeling was amazing!
