I had serious mum guilt. I went back to work when my son was 8 weeks and my daughter was only 3. I felt I missed out alot. I wasn’t there for first moments, I couldn’t do the mummy classes, if they were sick, I couldn’t be there. It felt awful. I had enough of seeking permission to look after my own babies.

Can you relate to this?

I was a finance manager working 9-5, doing extra hours to stay on top of the demands. I wanted to drop my hours but needed to find something that was flexible alongside my job, being mum and make money.

I had a passion to help others after finally cracking my own journey, I enquired about the business. I felt it was a good fit and took that leap! 6 years later I’m running my business as my sole income, and it worked out perfectly. I make more money, I LOVE my role as a consultant and business mentor, and most importantly I get to be the Mum I always wanted to be.

How would that additional income help you?

I love being able to book spontaneous holidays, go on school trips, look after the kids if they’re poorly, do school runs (yep even in the rain). My dream was to be present but I had financial responsibilities so I needed to strike that balance and this business allowed that.
