At the end of 2007 I was made redundant. I became self employed and have loved every single minute. I love being my own boss, having the flexibility it offers me and giving me the opportunity to support others in various ways. 

Having been in my other well loved profession since 2005, I knew it wouldn't be sustainable forever. I was struggling with various aches and pains and seriously considering changing careers entirely. 

I lost 3 stone with The 1:1 Diet and then became a Consultant in the spring of 2017. I've never looked back. Building my client base of slimmers has allowed me to take the physical pressure off from my other profession. I now run my 2 business together, which is amazing. 

In the first period of COVID-19 lockdown I had to close my other business for 12 weeks. Without my income from The 1:1 Diet throughout this time my life could have taken a completely different road. I truly didn't value the importance of my 1:1 Diet business until this time. When one business closed, the other well and truly stepped up and has grown phenomenally.  I knew what I was achieving with this business, but it was then that I realised how much of a difference it can make to others.

I have grown a team of consultants, a number have won their first incentives from our Head Office team. I couldn't be more proud of their amazing achievements. In team we have consultants from all sorts of backgrounds, showing this business can fit around your current committments.
