I’m 34 now, but my dieting journey started at 16, trying to lose weight for prom. From there, it became a familiar cycle: start a diet, lose a bit, struggle, give up, then gain back more. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone, I lived that loop for years!
Lockdown was when I gained the most weight. The stress, isolation and loss of routine took a real toll, and then becoming a single parent to 6 month old twins in 2022, my weight and confidence felt more out of control than ever. I was tired, frustrated and completely lost.
It wasn’t until spring 2025 that I discovered the 1:1 Diet, and that’s when things truly began to change.
I’m still on my journey, but this time it’s different. The 1:1 Diet didn’t just help me lose weight — it helped me understand my habits, my triggers, and my relationship with food. For the first time, it all started to make sense.
I’ve gained more confidence, more energy, and a lifestyle I can genuinely see myself sticking to long term.
