Here's the part about my journey...

I had been overweight most of my adult life, piling more and more weight on after each pregnancy. I had terrible eating habits with takeouts and sugary snacks and was looking after the family and not myself.

Over the years I had become a social HERMIT!

My devastating wakeup call was when I ended up in hospital with sepsis and in a very critical condition. I was in HDU for 2 weeks and was incredibly poorly. This was all a direct result of being really overweight and in poor overall health!

When I was discharged from hospital it was my turning point in my life I realised I needed to lose all the weight and start to take care of myself, otherwise I would not be around to look after my children and see them grow up.

I started on the One 2 One diet with my consultant on step 4 initially and then moved to step 3, I have lost a total of 11 stone in 14 months and gone from a size 26 to a 12. 

Step 3 really suited me as I wanted a step with food to be flexible with my family and lifestyle. My partner has also been losing weight alongside me and has lost 4 stones and reversed his diabetes he's now maintaining his weight too!

Losing weight has totally changed my life, I feel amazing and reborn I have more energy and confidence and I am now able to join in with the children instead of just watching them having fun from a distance.

I feel so passionate about my own weight loss journey that I want to support and encourage others to take the brave step to change, I totally understand how it feels because I have been there.
