I'm Sonia aka Daffodil that helps you bloom more & more each day. I’ll be honest I began to feel low at times, particularly as I was going through the menopausal stage of my life, I was experiencing joint pains, especially in my knees, hot flushes and other symptoms caused by menopause. Slowly the weight crept on and before I knew it, I was heavier and feeling uncomfortable! I needed to do something for me.

I was never a person who did diets really.  I was desperate to feel myself again and so I had to take the reins. I needed to lose this extra weight as I knew this was the cause of my knee pain, & just generally how I felt.  Doing the 1:1 Diet Plan was one of the best decisions I made. Lost the weight, regained my confidence, feel fabulous! I can get into clothes that could not  fit.  I hardly experience joint pain now, & am more confident in myself. The sluggishness is no more after eating, & definitely more hydrated. I am still maintaining my weight and am really enjoying life, & the way I feel.  My Menopause seems to have subsided, as I really feel much better.

I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid over 15 yrs ago & have struggled with my weight ever since. 5 yrs ago I was also diagnosed with a condition called PMR  (Polymyalgia rheumatica is a condition that causes pain, stiffness & inflammation in the muscles around the shoulders, neck and hips). There is no cure & steroids are the only meds that control the pain.

After weighing between 8.5-9st & finding myself weighing 12.5st plus I struggled mentally & emotionally.  Lockdown made it easy for me as it gave me an excuse not to leave the house as I was so unhappy with my appearance.
