Having Ill health and lack of mobility and thee xperience of being in a wheelchair for 7 years of my life i really struggled to lose weight. I've seen weight loss from every angle that of a full mobility person and one with restricted mobility and its hard to lose weight when you have added issues. But you have to chose your HARD.
With low self esteem, affecting the way i viewed myself geniunely stuck in a dark cycle of self loath and despair i knew i had to make the change.
Valentines Day 2014 i picked up the phone, often the most challenging decsion is to start.
I was on plan for 9 weeks having lost 2 stone which was incredible and i felt amazing, until I had a fall breaking my femur preventing me from carrying on with my 1:1 Diet journey, but I was determined to reach GOAL!
In August 2014 my goal was back in sight and i was back on plan.
I reached my goal on 21st February 2015 and I've maintained ever since.
In just over 8 months I lost a massive 3 STONE*
With the support of my consultant i worked throught the Steps achieving a healthier relationship with food.
Maintaing weight loss can be equally as challenging as losing weight i still eat cake but i now chose when. Food guilt no longer controls me.
My WHY i won't gain the weight back is bigger than the desire to slip back into bad habits again.
As your Consultant, I will support you through your fully accessible weigh ins and your weight loss journey by:
- Offering one to one consultations, identifying your goals and the steps to take to get there.
- No group meetings
- Consultations at my home or a accesible mobile location
- Ongoing support via telephone, facetime, zoom, text and email
- Flexible appointments to suit you
- No contracts or membership subscriptions
- I offer fully accesible weigh ins for both able and disabled clients with Secca medical scales and Invictus wheelchair scales.
