Transformation of the Year

What is the Transformation of the Year award?

Voted for by the readers of Woman’s Own, this award goes to the person who’s truly overhauled their life. It could be they’ve found love since losing weight and are now planning the wedding of their dreams. Or maybe their newly discovered confidence landed them an amazing job, doing something they could only have ever imagined before The 1:1 Diet. It’s an award that’s all about celebrating life’s big, and sometimes small, wins.

So, here’s who made the shortlist…

Amy’s determination and perseverance has shown anything is possible.

Yes, she’s lost an impressive amount, but she’s also transformed her physical and mental wellbeing - she’s literally unrecognisable!

Woman of the Year

What is the Woman of the Year award?

This award goes to the woman who’s done it all. Think huge transformation, a life-changing weight loss and a healthier attitude to food. Not only that, she’s discovered a new zest of life, becoming an inspiration and icon to all those who want to follow in her footsteps.

So, here’s who made the shortlist…

Marv Young

Weight loss: 7st

It all started with a thoughtful gift: a necklace she couldn’t fit around her neck. Living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and menopausal symptoms, Marv knew she had to make a change. Within two weeks of starting The 1:1 Diet, Marv had lost one stone - going on to lose a further six - transforming her relationship with food, enhancing her health and wellbeing and owning her new moniker, the ‘Style Queen’.

Steph Barber

Consultant: Sarah Worrall

Weight loss: 5st 10lbs

After the untimely death of her husband, Steph knew it was time to take control of her own health. Desperately overweight and unhappy, Steph set up a consultation with Sarah and decided to start clocking up the steps around her local park. Teg Turner

Consultant: Kirsty & Marcus Monk

Weight loss: 10st 4.5lbs

A mental health nurse, Teg soon realised that although she was caring for patients daily, she’d been neglecting her own wellbeing. Food became a comfort and the weight soon piled on. The Wellbeing Award

What is The Wellbeing Award?

This award is for the person who’s not only changed the way they look, but also embraced wellness and transformed their health. Maybe they’ve been able to reverse their type-2 diabetes and feel healthier than they have in years. Whatever the journey, it’s time to celebrate how much they’ve achieved.

So, here’s who made the shortlist…

What is the Maintainer of the Year award
