Keeleys magnificent journey: Before & After Transformation

For our first Before & After Transformation post of 2025, we’re talking to Keeley Kenzie. From half marathons to learning about her motivations, we talk all about Keeley’s weight loss journey and what life looks like now she’s lost an inspiring 8 stone - and kept it off for 10 years!

How my journey started 

While working in finance, I was deeply unhappy and constantly snacking throughout the day. I’d eat all day and all night, and the weight slowly crept on - to the point where I’d be embarrassed to even go out for a walk. 

I tried other diets, like Lighter Life and Slimming World, but none of them worked. Then one day my ex-husband asked if I wanted to give dieting another go. I was initially annoyed and slightly offended. But when he said he just wanted me to be happy, I thought ‘Well, why not?’. The next day I was on the phone to my Consultant, and by Wednesday I’d picked up my products and started. Within 12 weeks I’d lost 4 stone - I was so glad I’d bit the bullet and kicked-off my weight loss journey.

 

 

What my diet looked like before The 1:1 Diet

For a start, I didn’t eat 3 meals a day. Instead, I just snacked on junk all day, every day. When I look back, I am so bored and unhappy, and I eat to fill a void. 

Now that I’ve transformed my eating habits, I always stick to my 3 meals a day and try to keep junk out of the house. I want my 2 boys to pick up healthy habits, so that’s my biggest motivation to keep the weight off.

My experience of The 1:1 Diet looks like…

Despite struggling with my first journey, I’ve loved being on The 1:1 Diet. I’ve actually found it liberating. When I started The 1:1 diet I didn’t have to worry about counting calories or sorting out meals - all I needed to do was follow the Steps and enjoy the products.

My biggest challenge has been…

After initially losing the weight, I gained some of it back.

And by the time I’d had my two boys, I’d gained another 8 stone, taking me up to 18 stone. I’d enjoyed my pregnancies (and the food) but I knew I needed to change my ways for the boys. So I restarted on Step 1 and soon saw the weight drop off.

The part I’ve loved the most…

I love the routine and regimented part of The 1:1 Diet. I’ve found that I need the discipline of a routine to help keep me on track, and even to this day you’ll often find me tucking into one of my fave 1:1 Diet products - I’m obsessed!

How my life looks now….

Nowadays, you’ll find me either at the gym, doing pilates or off on a run training for my next half marathon. I’m now the one running after my boys on the football pitch and hitting the slides at the swimming pool - something I never would’ve had the confidence to do before the diet. 

The 1:1 Diet has changed my life. I’m a completely different person and a better mum because of it. I’m happy, healthy and full of energy.

What’s next for me…

I’ve lost a whopping 8 stone and managed to keep it off for over a decade! As for what’s next for me? Well, I’ve got another half marathon coming up soon, so watch this space!
