Here’s Gillian’s story: how she swapped expensive weight loss injections for The 1:1 Diet

After suffering a family loss, and subsequently struggling with depression, Gillian soon found herself turning to food as a coping mechanism. Before she knew it, she weighed 15.5 stone. It was at this point that Gillian knew it was time to make a change. 

That was when she decided to use weight loss jabs. But Gillian struggled to change her eating habits, still craving fast food and takeaways, and the weight soon piled back on. 

''On my first injection, I thought it was amazing. I lost a lot of weight, the weight just fell off. But it didn't teach me what was good food, what was bad food, what was healthy food. It just taught me that my stomach didn't want to eat the amount of food that I normally put in it.”

In just one year, Gillian had spent approximately £2,300 on GLP-1 injections. But she still found herself indulging in fizzy drinks, crisps, sausage rolls and biscuits after dropping the kids off at school.

I couldn't have done this without Judy, and I’ll always be part of her team. I’m determined to stay at my target weight.”
