My journey began with a phone call from a health professional and hearing the words I never expected: my BMI placed me in the obese category. I was absolutely devastated. With a family history of chronic heart disease, I knew I was putting my future at risk and might not be around beyond my 60s. It was a shock—but it became the wake-up call I needed.

Menopause hadn’t been my friend. I was struggling physically, emotionally, and mentally, and like so many others, I felt lost in my own body. I had completely lost myself.

When I first saw the adverts for The 1:1 Diet, I remember thinking, “What do I have to lose?”

Fast forward to today, having lost 3.5 stone, I am ecstatic to have found something that truly worked for me. I’ve found myself again—my confidence, my energy, and my belief that positive change is possible at any stage of life.
