So, a little bit about me! Back in December 2021 it dawned on me that my eldest daughter was finishing High School and would be having her Prom the summer of 2022! I was 21 stone 4lb and had comfort ate throughout the Covid Pandemic, being morbidly obese, along with having asthma, respiratory issues due to the amount of acid reflux I suffered with as a side effect of my weight, I was advised to not leave the house, I spent 6 months eating my way through trying to homeschool 3 children, I didn't realise how big I'd become as I was terrified of the scales, but when I realized that I would be going to see my daughter off at her prom I had a moment where I thought "I don't want to embarrass her by being the Fat Mum" so I started researching diets that would fit around work and after spending years going to other weight loss classes and feeling ashamed if I'd gained and clapped if I'd lost, I wanted Something that was just me and the weight loss consultant, that's when I found the 1:1 I signed up on Boxing Day 2021 and booked in for the 10th January, then I got Covid! I was so disappointed but managed to move my appointment to the 17th and that's when my journey began. Fast forward 2 1/2 years and I've lost over 11st and, although not for everyone, I signed up for the couch to 5k program in July of that year, I was a little over 16 stone when I started running and I have continued to run ever since, I even ran a half marathon in February 2024.  I feel so passionately about this weight loss plan that I decided that I wanted to help and empower others to become the best version of themselves, the 1:1 has changed my life in so many ways and I will forever be thankful that I found it!
