My Story

I was almost 18 stone, emotionally binge eating my way through multiple bereavements. I have a disabled son who had to move into a placement, my mother suddenly passed away, my brother was innocently killed in a RTC and I had a new born baby. All in the space of the same year! I had always struggled with my weight since the age of 11. I was bullied in school and life was hard and getting harder. The GP told me that I have a heart condition that needs investigation and if I didn't change my life it would take 7 years off my life span - I was guaranteed to die early too! My responses to bereavement had to change before my children grieved for me in the same way. I joined plan and lost 6 stone! I maintained for 6 years! Since then, I have had our baby boy and I am on plan with all my slimmers losing my last stone of baby weight.
