Evie’s three stone wedding weight loss diet

“I got engaged in 2017 and was very excited about getting married, but I wasn’t happy about my weight or the unhealthy lifestyle I was leading.

“I have an emotional and sometimes stressful job as a funeral director and work very long and unsociable hours, which meant I was snacking on a good deal of unhealthy food like crisps and chocolate.

“I wanted to look fabulous in my beautiful wedding dress but dreaded having any photographs taken as I’d gradually, over time, gained weight.

“I knew something had to change as I wanted to look fabulous on my wedding day. I spotted The 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant Gemma Renwick’s Instagram page. That was it. I called her there and then.

“Gemma put me at ease immediately and discussed The 1:1 Diet. She was helpful, informative and with me every step of my weight loss journey. It was great having my very own dedicated support system.

“I was so impressed with her approach that I joined her team as a part-time Consultant.

“Gemma’s professionalism and enthusiasm rubbed off on me, and she’s now become a great friend and my Consultant.

“Gemma put me on Step 2 as I loved the idea of coming home to a nice home-cooked meal. I enjoyed making my dinners from scratch and was elated when the weight dropped off.

“Once I’d reached my target wedding weight loss, I introduced the Step Up meals, which were my saving grace.

“Over the next 12 weeks, I lost three stone. I felt amazing and even my wedding dress fitter told me not to lose any more weight because they couldn’t take my dress in any more. What a result!

“I enjoyed my hen weekend in Ibiza immensely. I felt fit and healthy, and my weight loss had given me renewed confidence.

“When the time came to walk down the aisle with Ryan, I was floating on air. I’m proud to say I can look back at my wedding pictures with pride. Not only did I feel great, but it’s shaken up my whole routine.

“I’m now maintaining my weight loss with healthy meals and exercise. This is a long-term lifestyle change for me.”
