I was you in 2024 so I know this first step is daunting but I promise you won't regret it!
Here's my back story... when my second daughter was born, it hadn't gone to plan. I was struggling with trauma from her birth and all the challenges of being a Mum to 2 willfull and wonderful girls. I turned to food; had a bad day - I ate, it was a Tuesday - I ate, my daughter went into preschool with no fuss - I ate, felt crap getting dressed - I ate. I wasn't moving enough but I really was consuming a lot of calories every day. I thought it was making me feel better. It wasn't.
I went to my brother's 30th birthday party feeling so self conscious and unhappy about how I looked - that's not the memory I wanted from that party. When I look back at those photos now I don't recognise that person. I tried a few different diets but nothing worked. Untill I came across someone's story which sounded similar to mine. I contacted them and learnt about the 1:1 diet. I was excited for the first time about a diet because something was telling me it was going to work!
Fast forward a few months and I'd lost 3 and a half stone and felt so much healthier, more confident and was having to buy clothes 2 sizes (sometimes 3!) smaller! I was getting compliments about how much weight I'd lost and I was so excited to tell them it was down to this diet.
That is why I trained to become a consultant! I want anyone feeling similar to the way I was to have the chance to make a change and for it to work!
