My Journey
I've been on a rollercoaster ride with my weight since my 30s, and it's been quite the journey.
I love food, I'm a stress eater and as I’m sure you have also experienced, life has a tendency to throw a few curveballs, which have a drastic effect on our bodies. For me, the main catalyst was being diagnosed with breast cancer at 44 years old. The harsh treatments took their toll, catapulting me into early menopause, zapping me of energy, and completely changing my shape.
Thankfully I'm officially in remission now, 7 years clear and counting! I'm working hard to regain my physical and mental health, as being overweight and not fitting into anything has been a constant source of frustration and depression. Exercise gives me aches and pains, and I've tried counting calories, but honestly, I'm useless at it.
