Throughout my 20’s and 30’s my weight fluctuated between 13-14 stone and up to around 15 stone after pregnancy. I think I tried all the diets going and I can only describe my life as ‘yo-yo dieting’.
I comfort ate my way through all the lock downs of 2020 & 2021 and emotional eating became habitual. At 42, I found myself at rock bottom regarding my weight. None of my clothes fit me, I lacked confidence in every situation, even with my own family, I felt unattractive and invisible. I often cancelled meeting friends due to increased anxiety, in physical terms I was suffering with severe heartburn, back ache and headaches, and I just couldn’t carry on the way I was, I felt quite unwell and very low mentally.
I knew that some diets I had tried in the past had encouraged me to adopt some rather unhealthy eating habits, such as poor portion control due to the allowance of some so called ‘free foods’ and I was adamant I didn’t want to go to a group weigh in, I always felt like these sessions were like a confession and encouraged ‘food shaming’ if the desired weight loss targets weren’t achieved and I knew that wasn’t going to work for me this time. I needed to see some results quickly and change some of my unhealthy eating habits and my relationship with and reliance on food. When I sat down at my laptop I google the ‘Cambridge Diet’ and I was directed to the One to One diet by CWP, I found my consultant (and now my sponsor) by doing a postcode search and I knew that Heidi’s story resonated with me. In my first week on plan I lost 13 and 3/4 pounds (almost a stone in one week) and within 6 weeks I had lost nearly 2 stone. I recently set myself a new target to lose another stone.

How do I find the right Consultant?
When you put in your postcode, you’ll see all the Consultants nearest you. Don’t worry if they’re not on your doorstep – lots of our Consultants are happy to come to you. Take a look at their profile and read what the dieters they have helped so far say – that should help you find someone on your wavelength. If you want to find out more before making an appointment, you can call, text or drop them an email.
How’s this different to other diet plans?
The 1:1 Diet is a lot more flexible than other weight-loss plans and it’s the ONLY one that gives you dedicated, one-to-one support from your own personal diet Consultant. That means your diet is designed for you, and only you. Together with your Consultant, you’ll work out an easy-to-follow eating plan that fits with your routine and gets you the results you want.
