Start,middle not the end
I started my weight loss journey back in 2017 on step 1A I lost just over a stone in my first month and that gave me the kick up the bum to stick with it for another few weeks, but then my losses slowed so I moved up to step 2 and that was nice as I was then able to have a little conventional food meal in the evening…..all be it the portions were small but it helped me change my mind set and gain control over my eating habits. I continued with this step for another 4 months and got down to a healthy BMI and dropped from a 12/14 to a comfortable size 10 in clothes. With my new found confidence myself and fiancé decided to book two weeks in the sun to Cyprus, cut a long story short we had the most amazing time… I FELT AMAZING! We land home and 5/6 weeks down the line I found out how much of a “good” time we had when those two lines appeared on a pregnancy test! (Ouzo has a lot to answer for!) anyway I obviously came straight off plan and started to grow what turned out to be our baby boy. I was gaining weight as all women do when pregnant but kept thinking to myself I’m so glad I lost all that weight before! So anyway the 9 months pass I have baby and after a while the dreaded I hate the way I look kicked in! I contacted my consultant all excited to get back on plan and place an order but I was too early!!!! So I waited for the correct time to pass and got straight back on plan….1A (I didn’t have the time or energy to meal prep) then back up to step 2 as i did previously then BOOM within 3 and half months I was back to pre baby weight or there about. Don’t get me wrong I stand here today not at my smallest I was before having my son but I’m nowhere near what I was in 2017 before starting!
