Why wait any longer?
I'd never had a problem with my weight until 2002. I started suffering from panic attacks which led to agrophobia which made it hard to eat. I no longer suffer with this, but from there the weight crept up, and unfortunately this started the cycle of comfort eating.
The more weight I gained, the less confidence I had. I didn't go out as nothing looked nice. It was easier to stay home and eat.
I bought clothes that would cover my belly and not clothes I'd like to wear. I felt old and unfashionable. I didn't make any effort with my appearance.
I felt uncomfortable and unhealthy. Everything was hard..... even getting up off the floor!
I have 2 boys and they were asking me to go on bike rides. I'd find excuses to be involved in any form of exercise. I was unfit and also get out of breath and sweaty. I felt guilty.
In January 2021 I started the 121 saying "Right I'm waving the flag!
I'm fed up of eating rubbish, fed up of feeling unhealthy, fed up with having no motivation, fed up of not being able to look in the mirror at myself, fed up of wearing horrible clothes, fed up of not wanting to do anything!"
I'd hit rock bottom....
As the weight came off my confidence grew. I started feeling attractive and loved exploring new styles. I am now called the queen of try ons as I'm liking trying out new styles. WOW! ME!!
I started posting on Instagram after starting the plan to make myself accountable and to show that if I can do it then so can you! This was so out of my comfort zone and I hated doing videos. Now I'll do a video without any make up on or hair done, as this is me take me or leave me as I've now started to love myself.
I also started cycling with my boys and they LOVE it. I love how I FEEL and how my fitness has improved. We go swimming which we never used to do. I'm no longer worried about what people think of me in a costume.
I love the 121 Diet and have lost 4 stone! I'm on plan now and getting closer to my target.
