Hi Everyone 

Earlier this year i started The 1:1 diet and it was like finally finding me finally finding a diet that understood me. I have tried every diet there is and never really succeeded at them. I have even picked up some pretty bad habits along the way. 

When I was pregnant with with my little boy  I developed gestational diabetes, I was on medication and injecting insulin daily for it. I was told that at some point I would probably develop type 2 diabetes so I now get tested yearly (so far so good) 

During lock down I put on more weight (eating chocolate like it was never going to be made again and don’t even get me started on the crisps) I felt really low, no energy and I was taking heart burn tablets every night and getting a numb leg if I stood for too long. I started to look into the Cambridge 1:1 plan and thought I would give it a go, after all I had nothing to lose and I was at my biggest. Fast forward to now and I am 2 and half stone down, 36 inches lost and no more heart burn, numb leg and I have already reduced the risks of me getting type 2 diabetes. I still have 2-3 stone left to lose but Basically I feel amazing and cant wait to help other people to have a happy, healthy life too.
