Before discovering the 1:1 diet, I'd tried everything. I would intermittent fast, calorie count, exercise to the point of fatigue; hey, I even tried the infamous cayenne pepper lemon juice diet. Needless to say, nothing worked.
I've always had a difficult relationship with calories, but piling on the pounds became harder when in 2014, following thyroid surgery, my weight up a stone within just a month. Although I was desperately trying to lose weight, while trying to exercise as much as I could, this was the point of no return. As I saw the scales inch higher and higher, at some point I had mentally checked out, thinking, if I was never going to lose weight I might as well enjoy food.
I first heard about the 1:1 plan in 2017 but thought not much of it until I watched a BBC documentary in June 2018. 3 June 2018 was the first day of the rest of my life. I lost three stones in just three months and felt amazing!
Since then I've not only maintained my weight loss but also adopted a healthier lifestyle and taken up road cycling. Looking back at photos of myself back in 2015-2016 it's hard to believe that was the same person.

Take a look at their profile and read what the dieters they have helped so far say – that should help you find someone on your wavelength. How’s this different to other diet plans?
The 1:1 Diet is a lot more flexible than other weight-loss plans and it’s the ONLY one that gives you dedicated, one-to-one support from your own personal diet Consultant. That means your diet is designed for you, and only you. Together with your Consultant, you’ll work out an easy-to-follow eating plan that fits with your routine and gets you the results you want.
What’s the Awards and Achievements panel on Consultant’s webpages?
You might have noticed each Consultant has an awards and achievements panel on their profile. Being a Consultant brings loads of benefits and as they build their business, Consultants achieve awards for their hard work. This might be from superb support to all of their clients to help them hit those weight-loss goals, to helping others in their team build their own successful business. The 1:1 Diet is all about recognising and rewarding these efforts and part of the reward is giving Consultants badges on their webpage, to show you what they’ve achieved.
