Like many people looking at the 1:1 diet to achieve their weight loss goal, they want to know is it right for them. Through my own personal experience I can say it has really helped me achieve my targets.
After having the last of my children in 1985 I struggled with my weight, so in 1989 I decided to start what was then the Cambridge diet. After trying many different diets with little progress I finally found one that was right for me. Within 12 weeks I had achieved my target weight and with sensible eating and a little exercise it stayed steady for nearly 20 years.
But life changes, and in 2009 I became a grandmother, I suddenly found my time was taken up by three little grandchildren. This meant picking them up and dropping them off, going to the shops or out to the park in the car as I couldn't carry or push three children. I was skipping meals or grabbing "convenience" food once they had gone home and family outings seemed to revolve around eating out, so over the last 10 years my weight started to creep up.
Over the last couple of years I tried the diets that my friends were on but the weight loss was slow, and the eating plans hard to follow, I also didn't enjoy the group meetings and I eventually gave up.
My daughter then said 'why don't you try the diet you did after having us'. Now called the 1:1 diet, I'm back on the one that suits me. I love the fact that the meals are quick and convenient to prepare which is great if you are someone with a busy lifestyle, but also that what I'm eating tastes like real food and not a flavourless weight loss meal replacement.
Over the last 8 weeks I have lost nearly 2 stone, I know I have a long way to go still before I reach my goal and maintain my weight but with past experience I'm someone that will help you reach yours as well. I will always be available with support and advice either on the phone or dashing over to chat.

How’s this different to other diet plans?

That means your diet is designed for you, and only you. Together with your Consultant, you’ll work out an easy-to-follow eating plan that fits with your routine and gets you the results you want.
