I’ve had a love-hate relationship with food since I was seventeen. Sometimes I loved it so much that the weight would go on, then I’d rein it back in and feel normal again. This pattern repeated and repeated, with a two-stone continually bobbing yo-yo. Throughout my 40’s, family responsibilities and health concerns took over, and my weight soared, the two stone yo-yo became an eight stone gain and pretty much stayed that way for the last decade. I was ill, miserable and had no control over anything. Finally, in the past couple of years, I’ve been able to get my life back on track and give myself the care and attention my mind, body and spirit have craved for so many years. For me, this has been one of my greatest achievements.
I really do understand how incredibly difficult it is to get a handle on this whole overeating thing. We all have so many pressures, so many responsibilities, that looking after ourselves is the last thing we have the headspace for. Yet that's precisely what our priority should be: keeping our beautiful bodies healthy and our amazing hearts and minds as happy and tranquil as we possibly can. I only wish I’d recognised this sooner and put myself first a few more times. But… it’s never too late, and if you’re at your wits end with this whole weight thing and are prepared to do what it takes to put yourself first, then I’m definitely in the race with you and will be cheering you on, right to the place where your life is truly your own again, and beyond.

How do I find the right Consultant?
When you put in your postcode, you’ll see all the Consultants nearest you. Don’t worry if they’re not on your doorstep – lots of our Consultants are happy to come to you. Take a look at their profile and read what the dieters they have helped so far say – that should help you find someone on your wavelength. If you want to find out more before making an appointment, you can call, text or drop them an email.
How often will I need to see my Consultant?
You’ll typically see your Consultant once a week for a weigh in and catch up, but you will have their phone number and you may get regular calls or texts from them in between appointments. A lot of our Consultants use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep in touch with their dieters too. They’re there to support you, so make sure you lean on them when the going gets tough - as it sometimes will. They’ll know exactly how to keep you on track.
How’s this different to other diet plans?
The 1:1 Diet is a lot more flexible than other weight-loss plans and it’s the ONLY one that gives you dedicated, one-to-one support from your own personal diet Consultant. That means your diet is designed for you, and only you. Together with your Consultant, you’ll work out an easy-to-follow eating plan that fits with your routine and gets you the results you want.
