A goal without a plan is just a wish -  I told myself I can change the way I eat, I can change the weight I am, I can change for a healthier and better lifestyle.  I’m a working mum of 3 beautiful girls, my journey started when my back gave way in 2017 and I was unable to exercise like I previously did.  I worked in the corporate environment of the NHS which meant sitting most of the day and going from one meeting to another and just grabbing whatever I could to eat.  Before I knew it, my weight increased and then last year during a family holiday, I realised I was struggling to keep up and enjoy the activities with my kids.  My eating habits had become very unhealthy and the weight piled on and unknowingly I weighed as much as I did at the end of my last pregnancy!  That’s when I told myself I need to make a difference to become healthier and happier.

Over the years, food and I have had an emotional relationship – I ate when I was happy, ate when I was stressed and ate when feeling down. I realised that my relationship with food had to change, that’s when I started to look at different diets etc. I came across Cambridge Weight Plan and with reservation met my consultant – not another diet, is this really going to work?  Was one of the many thoughts I initially had. I am now 20lbs* lighter with the continual support of the 1:1 approach and my determination to make a change.  My attitude towards food has since changed and not only for me but my whole family. Since I have started I have found my back pain has reduced and I feel happier than ever.

The 1:1 support and knowing the system truly works and has inspired me to become a consultant myself and support those at the start and throughout their journey to achieve their goals.

How do I find the right Consultant?

When you put in your postcode, you’ll see all the Consultants nearest you. Don’t worry if they’re not on your doorstep – lots of our Consultants are happy to come to you. Take a look at their profile and read what the dieters they have helped so far say – that should help you find someone on your wavelength. If you want to find out more before making an appointment, you can call, text or drop them an email.

How’s this different to other diet plans?

The 1:1 Diet is a lot more flexible than other weight-loss plans and it’s the ONLY one that gives you dedicated, one-to-one support from your own personal diet Consultant. That means your diet is designed for you, and only you. Together with your Consultant, you’ll work out an easy-to-follow eating plan that fits with your routine and gets you the results you want.

You might have noticed each Consultant has an awards and achievements panel on their profile. Being a Consultant brings loads of benefits and as they build their business, Consultants achieve awards for their hard work. This might be from superb support to all of their clients to help them hit those weight-loss goals, to helping others in their team build their own successful business. The 1:1 Diet is all about recognising and rewarding these efforts and part of the reward is giving Consultants badges on their webpage, to show you what they’ve achieved.
