My path to becoming a Cambridge Weight Plan Consultant started with my own weight loss journey many years ago. After two children at the mature age of 37 and 39, I found weight loss difficult. Juggling young children, managing a small business and looking after a parent with cancer, left little time for exercise and I wasn't eating as well as in the past.

I tried many diets and whilst some worked for a short while, the weight didn't stay off for long. I heard of many people trying Cambridge Weight Plan and I realised that it was more than a fad. I started incorporating Cambridge Weight Plan products into my diet and eventually I also embarked on a more regular and disciplined approach to exercise.  With my Consultant's support I lost 2 stones* and gained my self confidence back.  I now have more energy.

I'm really impressed with Cambridge Weight Plan's approach to helping people lose weight and achieve a healthier and happier lifestyle.  Having achieved success myself by using Cambridge Weight Plan products, I decided to become a Consultant to help others achieve success with their own weight loss goals.  I love cooking and I have incorporated Cambridge Weight Plan into my meal making (especially my curries, with great success!), my weight is stable and the health of all my family has greatly improved with the knowledge I have gained about food and nutrition.  My parent with cancer is luckily still with me after 12 years and I know the importance of eating right, being happy and having supportive people around you!

How do I find the right Consultant?

When you put in your postcode, you’ll see all the Consultants nearest you. Don’t worry if they’re not on your doorstep – lots of our Consultants are happy to come to you. Take a look at their profile and read what the dieters they have helped so far say – that should help you find someone on your wavelength. If you want to find out more before making an appointment, you can call, text or drop them an email.

How often will I need to see my Consultant?

You’ll typically see your Consultant once a week for a weigh in and catch up, but you will have their phone number and you may get regular calls or texts from them in between appointments. A lot of our Consultants use Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to keep in touch with their dieters too. They’re there to support you, so make sure you lean on them when the going gets tough - as it sometimes will. They’ll know exactly how to keep you on track.

How’s this different to other diet plans?

The 1:1 Diet is a lot more flexible than other weight-loss plans and it’s the ONLY one that gives you dedicated, one-to-one support from your own personal diet Consultant. That means your diet is designed for you, and only you. Together with your Consultant, you’ll work out an easy-to-follow eating plan that fits with your routine and gets you the results you want.
